Spring Break is coming\u2026 what are your plans?<\/b><\/p>\n
Ashley Royer: <\/b>I\u2019ll be close to graduating high school! I\u2019ll probably be deciding on what college to attend and applying for scholarships.<\/span><\/p>\n Christina June:<\/b> Not working! \u00a0Other than that, I haven\u2019t thought that far ahead. \u00a0Lounging on a beach sounds nice\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n Evangeline Denmark: <\/b>\u00a0I live in Colorado. Whatever Spring Break plans I make will be ruined by snow. Every. Single. Time.<\/span><\/p>\n Jonathan Friesen:<\/b> I know I am speaking a lot over that week, so likely nothing that would impress you. Maybe I\u2019ll go to a tanning booth.<\/span><\/p>\n Lorie Langdon:<\/b> We have no travel plans over Spring Break this year. We\u2019ll plan some fun staycation things like movies, game nights, and the aquarium.<\/span><\/p>\n McCall Hoyle: <\/b>Well, that\u2019s still up in the air. My two children are begging for a trip to Harry Potter World at Universal Studios. I want to stay home, read, write, and drink lots of chai tea. I\u2019ll let you know in a few weeks how it works out. It\u2019s kind of a no-lose situation for me. I\u2019ll enjoy either outcome.<\/span><\/p>\n Stephanie Morrill:<\/b> We\u2019re embarking on a crazy road trip (crazy because we have a toddler who doesn\u2019t like to be strapped into anything for very long!) from Kansas City to Santa Fe, Sedona, and the Grand Canyon. This will be our first vacation as a family of five\u2014yikes!<\/span><\/p>\n What book release are you most looking forward to this year? <\/b><\/p>\n Evangeline Denmark: <\/b>Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton<\/span><\/p>\n Lorie Langdon:<\/b> Normally it would be my own, but my next book, OLIVIA TWIST, doesn\u2019t release until March of 2018. So, I\u2019ll choose my friend Melissa Lander\u2019s book STARFALL!<\/span><\/p>\n McCall Hoyle: \u00a0<\/b>That\u2019s a tough one. I like books as much as I like chocolate. I have several author friends releasing books in 2017 that I\u2019m super excited about. I\u2019m excited about all the Blink debuts, but if I really have to pick the one I\u2019m \u201cmost looking forward to\u201d, I\u2019d have to say Sarah Dessen\u2019s Once and for All, which comes out in June. I love the complexity of the characters and relationships in her books. I love the way she uses secondary characters to mirror and reflect where her protagonists came from, where they\u2019re headed if they don\u2019t change, and where they\u2019re headed if they learn and grow. I think she\u2019s a genius.<\/span><\/p>\n Stephanie Morrill: <\/b>Kerri Maniscalco\u2019s new one comes out this fall. Her writing style is beautiful.
